Rocky Mountain Finishes prefinishes LP SmartSide, James Hardie, Allura, natural wood, and thermally modified wood at our Craig, CO facility. Every piece leaves coated on all six sides, including back faces, edges, and ends, so your install crew can get to work straight away.
We offer a 15 and 30 year paint warranties on LP SmartSide, James Hardie, and Allura products. Custom color matching is available across all product lines. Shou Sugi Ban and thermally modified finishes are available for projects that call for a natural look with maximum durability. WUI-compliant and FRTW options are available for builds in wildfire zones.
Doors
Rocky Mountain Finishes prefinishes both exterior and interior doors at our Craig, CO facility. Every door arrives pre-hung in the jamb assembly, finished to spec, and ready for your carpenter to set in the opening. No painter coordination. No dry time on site.
All doors are coated on all six sides and sealed against Colorado’s moisture and temperature swings. WUI-compliant finishing is available for projects in wildfire zones. Doors are finished with a protective top coat for durability and consistent coverage.
Hardwood
Flooring
Rocky Mountain Finishes prefinishes engineered and solid hardwood flooring for mountain builds. Each board is finished with a protective clear coat in factory-controlled conditions, so your flooring arrives ready to install with consistent sheen and color across every plank.
Our hardwood flooring is acclimated to low-humidity environments common to Colorado mountain construction and is compatible with radiant heat systems. No on-site finishing. No waiting on a floor crew to sand and coat before the next trade can work.
Decking
Rocky Mountain Finishes prefinishes cedar, Douglas fir, and thermally modified wood decking at our Craig, CO facility. Every board is coated on all six sides, including ends and back faces, specifically for the demands of high-altitude UV exposure and Colorado’s freeze-thaw cycles. Additional composite decking options are also available.
Custom color matching is available across all decking species. Shou Sugi Ban finishes are available on natural wood species for projects where a charred, low-maintenance surface is the right call. Decking ships to your jobsite, staged and ready for your crew to put down.
Millwork and Lumber
Rocky Mountain Finishes prefinishes base, casing, crown, beams, and custom profiles at our Craig, CO facility. Interior millwork is finished with a protective topcoat in factory-controlled conditions, giving you consistent color and coverage across every piece before it ships.
Exterior trim and fascia are coated on all six sides, so there is nothing for a painter to touch on site. Custom color matching is available. If your project has a profile we don’t stock, talk to our team about custom milling options.
