Rocky Mountain Finishes provides customers with beautiful, eco-friendly pre-finishing of interior products for everyday work and play. Stained, sealed, primed and painted products are coated under factory-controlled conditions and the most stringent quality control procedures. RMF consistently produces the finest finish, for the most demanding applications. Whether you’re looking for one board, or one thousand boards, RMF is capable of on taking on all quantities, materials, and finishes to help make your dream a reality.

RMF, in partnership with PPG and Sherwin Williams, is proud to offer over 2,000 solid colors and 39 semi-transparent interior stain options. The customer is welcome to purchase and drop ship materials directly to RMF for pre-finishing; alternatively, RMF can procure the materials directly from our supply of trusted vendors. Pre-finished Exterior Wood Siding

RMF’s factory finishing capabilities include pre-staining and/or pre-painting of natural wood exterior siding products. The most popular of these products being Cedar and Cyprus wood siding, and Pine “D” log siding. Various profiles are available including channel rustic, beveled, shiplap, tongue and groove, and board and batten. Six-sided protection (coated face, back, edges, and ends) is recommended for all natural wood siding products.

All natural wood siding profiles can be pre-finished in a transparent stain to allow the true wood grain show and show the natural wood color. A semi-transparent stain can be used for added UV protection and will continue to show true wood grain. For customers who desire the most consistent stained colors, we recommend the use of a semi-solid or solid color stain. Lastly, we can apply one coat of primer and two coats of paint for a solid color finish and maximum product protection.

Pre-finished Engineered Wood Siding

RMF’s pre-finishing capabilities include pre-painting of engineered wood exterior siding products like LP SmartSide, KWP Eco-Side and KWP NatureTech, and TruWood. Various product lines are available to meet the customer’s unique needs including: siding, trim, soffit, panels and shakes in smooth and woodgrain textures. Five-sided protection (coated face, edges, and ends) is recommended for all engineered wood siding products.

All engineered wood siding profiles can be pre-finished in over 2,000 solids colors or 36 RealWood premium faux-stain color combinations all with a 30-year limited warranty. RealWood premium faux-stains are only available on woodgrain textured products.

Pre-finished Synthetic Wood Siding

RMF’s pre-finishing capabilities include pre-painting of engineered synthetic wood siding products like RISE Building Products’ recycled poly fiber boards. Woodgrain textured siding and trim are available in a variety of widths and thicknesses for each specific application. Five-sided protection (coated face, edges, and ends) is recommended for all synthetic wood siding products.

All synthetic wood siding profiles can be pre-finished in over 2,000 solids colors or 36 RealWood premium faux-stain color combinations all with a 30-year limited warranty.

Pre-finished Fiber Cement Siding

RMF’s pre-finishing capabilities include pre-painting of engineered fiber cement siding products like Allura and James Hardie. Assorted products are available to meet the customer’s unique needs including: siding, trim, soffit, panels and shakes in smooth and woodgrain textures. Five-sided protection (coated face, edges, and ends) is recommended for all fiber cement siding products.

All fiber cement siding profiles can be pre-finished in over 2,000 solids colors or 36 RealWood premium faux-stain color combinations all with a 30-year limited warranty. RealWood premium faux-stains are only available on woodgrain textured products.
